The Editorial Board of the Adat Recht Review Journal is pleased to announce the call for papers for our inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1. We invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their original research articles, reviews, and case studies on topics related to customary law (Adat Recht) and its intersection with contemporary legal issues.
Topics of Interest Include:
- Customary law and modern legal systems
- Indigenous legal traditions and human rights
- Comparative studies of customary law in different cultures
- The role of customary law in environmental protection
- Customary dispute resolution mechanisms
- The impact of globalization on customary law
- Customary law in digital and technological contexts
Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscripts: Submissions should be original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere.
- Format: Articles should be formatted according to the journal's style guide, which can be found on our website.
- Length: Research articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, including references. Review articles and case studies should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
- Language: Manuscripts should be written in English.
- Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150-200 words summarizing the main points of the paper.
- Keywords: Include 4-6 keywords relevant to the article's content.
Submission Process:
